Egyptian Para Taekwondo National team arrives in Senegal to participate in the African qualifications for 2024 Paris Paralympic Games

The Egyptian Para Taekwondo national team has arrived in Senegal to participate in the African qualifications of Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The delegation is headed by Mohamed Moustafa, the President of the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation, and includes Hazem Kandil, a board member and supervisor of the Para Taekwondo national team.

The team consists of: Abdel Rahman Ismail, Abdel rahman Farag, Walid Abdel Nabi, and Mariam Hafez. The team is led by Dr. Ismail Mahran as their coach.

It is worth mentioning that Salma Ali, a member of the Egyptian Parataekwondo team, has already qualified for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. as she won a silver medal in the 52kg weight category at the Grand Prix Championship held in Manchester, England. Salma Ali’s qualification to the Paralympics in Paris to be the first Egyptian Arab African girl qualify without waiting for the African qualifiers. This is her second consecutive qualification after Tokyo 2020.
