For the first time outside Europe 65 countries participate in the International Paralympic Committee Scientific Conference Vista 2023

The Paralympic Committee, headed by Dr. Hossam Eldin Moustafa, is preparing to host the IPC Scientific Conference, Vista 2023, under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, from October 31st to November 3rd, in the new administrative capital.

The conference will be attended by 300 international, Arab, and local figures, including lecturers, researchers, and interested individuals.
Work is underway within the corridors of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee to finalize the last preparations as Egypt was chosen to be the host for the first time in the history of the African continent.

The opening ceremony of the conference will be held on October 31st at 6:00 PM, in the presence of a large number of Egyptian sports officials and the Paralympic family. The Egyptian Paralympic Committee has invited Engineer Hisham Hatab, the President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, as well as the presidents of all Olympic and Paralympic federations, to attend the conference’s opening ceremony.

The conference will be attended by 300 figures representing 65 countries, including 30 lecturers, and 120 scientific research papers in the field of disability sports which will be presented during the conference.

Vista Conference is one of the most important scientific events that enhance the mission and goals of the International Paralympic Committee.

Egypt will also host the World Cup for Paralympic Powerlifting during the period from November 3rd to 11th, on the sidelines of the Vista Conference, as well as the final version of the 2023 World Series for Paralympic Swimming from November 9th to 12th.
