Samir Abdel-Moaz won Egypt’s first gold medal in the African Bocce Championship held in Egypt. He won the gold medal after defeating a South African player.
Dr. Ahmed Adam, President of the Egyptian Cerebral Palsy Federation, expressed his great happiness after Egypt won its first gold medal.
In addition to that ,the Egyptian delegation is capable of achieving many accomplishments and winning more medals during the championship.
He revealed that the current African Bocce Championship is highly competitive as it qualifies for the upcoming 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
Since the start of the African Bocce Championship, which qualifies for Paris 2024, the Egyptian team has had a series of victories. Player Mohanad Amin defeated the South African champion, Tassnim Gouda defeated her South African opponent, and Hanaa Mohamed overcame her Tunisian opponent.
