Para Athlete Abdel Rahman Yousef snatches the second medal for Egypt at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2023 in Italy

The Egyptian Para athlete, Abdel Rahman Youssef, was able to add a second medal to Egypt’s lot by snatching the silver in 400m running with 53.63 seconds coming after Ireland’s Cathal Ryan , who collected the gold finishing in 52.18 seconds while Bulgaria’s Stoyan Snezhanov ranked in third place finishing in 56.21 seconds.

The Egyptian Para Athletics delegation is headed by Dr. Shabaan El-Khateeb and the delegation consists of Osama Fouad, running coach, Yasser Fathi, discus throw head coach, Ahmed Khairy, discus throw coach and Mahmoud El-Attar as administrator in addition to Para athletes: Ibrahim Badr, Abdel Aziz Hashem, Ahmed Shoeib, Kareem Abdel Tawab, Mohamed Kamal, Abdel Rahman Youssef, Bassem Ragab and Gomaa Mohamed.

The Egyptian Para Athletics national team has entered in a closed training camp at the Olympic Center in Maadi as a preparation for the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2023.
