The Egyptian wheelchair basketball team was able to overcome their Moroccan competitor 57/53 to win their opener in the Afro-Arab Wheelchair Basketball Championship taking place in Kuwait from the 25th of April to the 2nd of May. Engineer Amal Mobada, head of the Egyptian delegation congratulated the team for their enthusiastic spirit as they were able to come back quickly from their first-set loss to win the match. The Egyptian national team will face Jordan tomorrow at 6:30 pm. The Egyptian Wheelchair Basketball team comprises of Mahmoud Sabry, Samy Mansour, Touba Magdy, Mohamed Mohamed, Ashraf Abu Zeid, Ashraf Mohamed, Mohamed Anwar, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Farag, and Magdy Talaat in addition to technical manager, Adel Sherif, coaches Gamal Ahmed and Said Badry and Mohamed Rashad as an administrator.
