The Egyptian Paralympic Committee (EPC) headed by Dr. Hossameldin Mostafa, EPC President, held a meeting with the various Paralympic club representatives at one of Cairo’s hotels to discuss a number of issues. The meeting started by undergoing a questionnaire and a survey to evaluate the performance of the EPC in the previous period, and the new developments that the EPC has undergone. The survey targeted better administrative performance to afford better services to member clubs and their athletes. A number of issues were tackled during the meeting as the launching of the EPC official website during March in addition to organizing a Paralympic day for each Paralympic sport
Furthermore, the meeting witnessed the inauguration of The Egyptian Paralympic Academy which will launch its work by organizing a medical classification training course to train a number of Egyptian classifiers in different sports. By the end of the meeting, the clubs asked the EPC to send official letters to all Egyptian Governors to support the different Paralympic clubs. On the other hand, the EPC requested that all clubs should form emails to make communication easier between the EPC and the clubs. Moreover, the EPC announced that it will help lessen the financial burdens of the different Paralympic clubs by affording the needed tools for free.
