As part of the Paralympic Committee’s efforts to develop its work system and activate the role of the Egyptian Paralympic Academy, alongside qualifying persons with disabilities and training them based on scientific principles to work in the sports field, the committee has signed a cooperation protocol with the Sports Professions Syndicate.
The protocol will include the qualification of trainers and administrators, their classification, and handing certificates to those who successfully complete training courses. It will also establish a system for licensing trainers and administrators which will be renewed annually based on their completion of specialized studies. Additionally, the protocol will cover the qualification of classifiers and the implementation of a national classification strategy.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Fathi Nada, head of the Sports Professions Syndicate, who expressed full support to the Egyptian Paralympic Committee and Paralympic sports, in cooperation with international institutions and universities. Dr. Hossam El-Din Moustafa, President of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, signed the protocol and thanked Dr. Fathi Nada for his support and sponsorship of the project, as well as his full cooperation in this regard.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Emad Ramadan, the EPC treasurer,as well as Mr. Ehab Hassanein, EPC board member, and Mas’ad Abu Al-Rijal, the General Director of the Syndicate.
