A Successful General Assembly of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee

 

The General Assembly of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee was held at the EPC headquarters at Cairo International Stadium.

Both the agenda of the General Assembly and the report of the Board of Directors were approved. The report highlighted numerous achievements of the Board and the achievements of the different sports federations. The report of the auditor and the financial statements for the fiscal year were presented and the financial statements were approved and adopted. The vacant position on the Board of Directors was also elected.

Dr. Hossam El-Din Moustafa, President of the EPC, chaired the Ordinary General Assembly, along with the members of the Board of Directors.

The meeting was attended by Counselor Mohamed Moustafa, the President of the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation and the Vice President of the Arab Union, representing the General Assembly in the elections. Ahmed Moustafa, representative of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, and Dr. Amr El-Haddad, the Deputy Minister of Youth for Sports Development, together with Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, the General Manager of Specialized Federations, were also present.

Ahmed Adam won the position of Vice President of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, receiving 7 votes compared to 3 votes for Dr. Sameh El-Sayed, with only one invalid vote.

11 sports bodies attended the meeting, including the Blind Sports Federation, the Federation for Intellectual Disabilities, the Federation for Cerebral Palsy Players, the Egyptian Para Volley Federation, the Table Tennis Federation, the Badminton Federation, the Triathlon Federation, the Cycling Federation, the Archery Federation, and the Taekwondo Federation.

In his speech during the General Assembly, Moustafa, EPC President expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all members of the Ordinary General Assembly, emphasizing that the main goal is to continue achieving more accomplishments.
