The Egyptian Para Swimming national team wins two bronze medals on the second day of the 2023 Citi Para Swimming World Series Championship

The Egyptian Paralympic Swimming Team succeeded in achieving honorable results by the end of the competitions’ second day.

Egyptian champion, Ahmed Hashad, snatched the bronze medal in the 100m. breaststroke while teammate Wardshan Mohamed collected the second bronze in the women’s 100m. backstroke.

Emad Ramadan, Treasurer of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee (EPC), confirmed that the tournament is witnessing strong competition and it is difficult to predict who will be crowned as the champion.

He also declared that Egypt is participating with a national team that comprises of 20 male and female para swimmers.

Emad Ramadan thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for his  continuous support of Egyptian sports in general and the Paralympic movement in particular, stressing that the political leadership’s support for sports is the secret of excellence and victory in many sports either team sports or individual ones.
