The Egyptian Paralympic Committee local organizing committee is putting the final touches in preparation for the Citi Para Swimming World Series Championship to take place from 8-10 at the swimming pool of the Club Club at the New Administrative City.
89 swimmers will compete in the event representing 17 countries. They are as follows: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey, Bosnia, Hungary, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Spain, Monaco, India, Finland, USA, Estonia, France, Kyrgyzstan and Egypt the host.
This championship is part of a series of championships that Egypt will host till 2026 thanks to the efforts of Dr. Hossam Eldin Mustafa, who was able to convince World Para Swimming that Egypt is capable of doing so. This will be a golden opportunity for our Egyptian swimmers to be classified. In addition to that, World Para Swimming is thinking of opening a competitions center in Africa, and we hope that Egypt will be chosen to host that center.
