Egypt defeats Angola 3-1 in the Amputee football competition at the First Para African Games held in Ghana

The Egyptian Amputee football team emerged victorious over their Angolan counterparts with a score of 3-1 in their first match of the ongoing African Games tournament held in Ghana.

Mahmoud Abdel Azim and Abdullah Mustafa “Shika” scored the goals. With this win, Egypt tops Group C.

Our Egyptian national team is scheduled to face Kenya in their next preliminary match and conclude their matches facing Rwanda.

The Egyptian Amputee football delegation consists of Mohamed Adel Hosny, the chairman of the Amputee Football Committee and head of resource development at the Egyptian Paralympic Committee (EPC), who leads the delegation. Also accompanying them is Mohamed Abdel Sabour, the financial officer of the delegation.

The amputee football delegation includes Sara Ahmed Hassan, the team manager, Mr. Evran, the technical director, Captain Rostom Ahmed Rostom, the head coach, as well as Mohamed Khairy, the team doctor, and Mohamed Nabil, the assistant worker. The team is composed of Hosny El-Noubi, Ibrahim Badawi, Mahmoud Abdel Azim, Ibrahim Abdel-Sadek, Abdullah Mustafa, Mohamed Hussein, Eid Saeed, Zaher Ibrahim, Ashraf Hussein, Ahmed Ibrahim, Erfa Nasser, Mahmoud Hamdi, and Islam Magdy.
