Randa Taj El-Din won the bronze medal of the 86 kg at the World Para Powerlifting Championships in Dubai

Randa Taj El-Din, Egyptian Para Powerlifting player, won the bronze medial in the total results of 86 kg competitions, at the World Para Powerlifting Championships in Dubai

Randa secured the fourth position in the 86 kg weight class before winning the bronze medal in the total weight lifted.

With Randa’s bronze medal, Egypt’s increased it’s medals to be 11 medals, including 3 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals.

In the men’s division, Egypt won 6 medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

The Egyptian national Para Powerlifting team consists of 19 athletes, including 8 female athletes: Amima Omar (50 kg), Rehab Radwan (55 kg), Fatma Mahrous (61 kg), Safaa Mohamed Ibrahim (73 kg), Amal Mahmoud Hanafi (79 kg), Randa Taj Al-Din (86 kg), Nadia Fikry (+86 kg), and Amani El-Desouki (+86 kg).

There are also 7 male athletes: Taha Adel (54 kg), Sherif Osman (59 kg), Mohamed Saad El-Minyawi (59 kg), Shaban El-Desouki (72 kg), Mahmoud Sabry (72 kg), Mohamed Sabry (88 kg), and Hany Mohsen (97 kg). Additionally, there are 4 juniors: Mohamed Fathy (49 kg), Hadi Samuel (49 kg), Islam Mangy (80 kg), and Marwan Ahmed Mustafa (+107 kg).

The Egyptian delegation to the World Championships is headed by Emad Ramadan, the Treasurer of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee.

The coaching staff of the national team includes Abdul Moneim Salah as the head coach of the senior team, Hany Mahmoud as the general coach of the senior team, Mohamed Azat as the technical director of the junior team, and Emad El-Din Bahgat as the coach and acting administrator.
