The Egyptian Para Athletics national team flew today to Paris to participate in the World Para Athletics Championship to take place from 8-17th July 2023 in Paris, France. The championship is very important to the Egyptian team as the first four places winners in each category will qualify directly to 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
The Egyptian delegation comprises of Ibrahim Badr and Gomaa Mohamed, F56 discus throw, Mohamed Kamal, discuss throw F37,Kareem Mahmoud,T44 in 100m running,Abdel Rahman Youssef, T46100m running, and long jump, Abdel Aziz Hashem,T47 in 100m. and 400m. running. Dr. Ashraf El-Oguil is the head of delegation together with Ahmed Khairy, Yasser Fathi, Osama Fouad as technical managers and coaches.
