Egyptian Para Badminton athletes to compete at Canada International Badminton Championship

The two Egyptian Para Badminton female athletes, Shaimaa Samy and Yasmina Eissa, flew to Canada this week to represent Egypt in the Canadian International Para Badminton Championship to take place from 14th -18th June in Ottawa. This championship is considered an important station in their preparation to 2024 Paris Paralymic Games as it is considered a qualifying tournament.

Both athletes have participated before in the Thailand International Para Badminton Championship. Moreover, Yasmina Eissa was able to snatch the bronze medal at the Brazil International Para Badminton Championship last April.

Dr. Hossam Eldin Mostafa thinks that both players together with teammate Ahmed El-Dakrory can secure a medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics in Para Badminton.
