The Egyptian football national team for Dwarfs topped its group at the Afro-Asian Championship

The Egyptian football national team for Dwarfs was able to beat its Jordanian opponent 7/2 to lead its group at the Afro Asian championship held from 20th to 30th May in Casablanca, Morocco and Egypt’s Mustafa Mohamed was named man of the Match.

The Pharaohs were able to win two matches against Morocco, the host, 5-2 and Jordan 7-2 while they drew in their first contender against Iraq 2-2 to top their group with 7 points and 14 goals.

The Pharaohs are participating in the first-ever official championship for dwarfs as a preparation for the World Cup for Dwarfs to take place in Argentina by the end of this year.

The Egyptian delegation consists of 16 members, headed by Ali Shaaban, the national team technical director in addition to coaches Mohamed Al-Bayda and Mahmoud Al-Hadary. The team’s players are Ahmed Abdel Razek (team captain), Walid Essam, Abdel Rahman Barakat, Mahdi Mohamed, Marwan Amr, Youssef Rawy, Abdel Ghani Hussein, Ramadan El-Sayed, Mostafa Mahmoud, Mamdouh Said, and goalkeepers Said El-Kharbawy and Emad Gouda.
