During his visit to El Menya, one of Upper Egypt Governorates, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honored a number of talented and promising youth, and among them was the Egyptian Paralympian champion, Mohamed Anwar, who among the Egyptian wheelchair basketball national team that collected the first place and the gold medal in the African Wheelchair Basketball Championship held in Ethiopia after a 24- year absence. Anwar has also collected the silver medal at the Wheelchair Handball World Cup to be the first Egyptian Para athlete to participate in two team sports from Upper Egypt.
