President of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee : Our goal is to raise the value of sponsorship to 50 million pounds per year

Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, President of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, revealed that his council seeks to increase the committee’s resources and raise the value of sponsorship to 50 million Egyptian pounds per year.

Mustafa added that the committee’s board of directors reached a final agreement with more than one sponsoring company and a number of banks to sponsor the committee and pump money to facilitate the EPC’s mission to provide internal and external camps for the Egyptian champions, as a preparation for the coming 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

“We have already concluded sponsorship contracts worth 13 million pounds, and the endeavor and diligence of our council is still continuing to reach the value of the sponsorship that the Egyptian Paralympic Committee deserves after our success in organizing many continental and international events.

Mustafa went on to say,” I especially thank his excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as he is a supporter of sports in general and sports for people with disabilities in particular.”

Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa praised the level of champions participating in the 2023 Citi Para Swimming World Series Championship which is currently being held in the New Administrative Capital, stressing that Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, has played a prominent role in the success of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee in hosting and organizing the tournament in Cairo.

The tournament witnesses the participation of 16 countries, including: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey, Bosnia, Netherlands, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Morrocco, Spain, India, Finland, Estonia and France, Kyrgyzstan in addition to Egypt, the host country.
