During his five-day visit to Cairo, AfPC President, Samsung Deen, has visited today the Bocci National Paralympic team at their training closed camp at Hassan Mustafa Sports Hall in October. He has also held a meeting with the members of the board of the Celebral Palsy Federation represented by Dr. Ahmed Adam the Federation’s president and Mohamed Desouki, his Vice President in addition to Ibrahim Ameen, the treasurer.
Deen has also participated with the bocci national team in one of their matches and was keen to take photos with the team.
In his visit to Cairo, Deen was accompanied by Dr. Hayat Khattab, AfPC Vice President.
‘’We are targeting reaching an environmental friendly Paralympic competitions and events. We will start by initiating a Go Green Paralympic national day at the American University in Cairo which will witness the participation of all our 19 Paralympic sports in a full day of activities and competitions that are all going green. This is the new trend all over the world and we want to be the pioneers by applying it to our Paralympic competitions and athletes.”
